This week, we hosted our summer Principals’ Conference in Leeds, bringing together school leaders from 59 of our schools across the country to connect, collaborate, and learn from one another.
With the new school year fast approaching, the collective focus was clear: making sure every school is ready to give every child an excellent education, every day.
This year’s conference approach was designed to harness the great expertise among our principals in tackling the biggest challenges facing the education sector.
Principals brought their best to the day, actively co-designing solutions for the future of our schools and the trust, around achievement (Lift490), belonging, and our KS3 curriculum.
Everything we discussed came back to one essential question: How do we make sure our good intentions match what pupils actually experience in the classroom every day?

Our leaders broke into teams to tackle three key areas:
They left the conference with practical plans they can put into action immediately.
Take a look at some of their feedback below:
Fozia Nisar, Head of School at Lift Montgomery: “What a fantastic couple of days; time to reflect, learn from colleagues, and focus on the challenges and opportunities ahead.”

Head of Portfolio and Partnerships Elroy Aidouni-Cahill: “It’s always energising to spend time with principals and executive leaders at our Lift Schools summer conference. The energy, collective commitment to action and buzz of ideas reminds me, each time, of how lucky we are to work with such talented leaders.”
