Montgomery Primary Academy in Birmingham had a special day today as it welcomed Sir Lenny Henry and the team from Newsround to kick off the BBC's 500 Words competition.

Montgomery Primary was chosen as the perfect place to kick off this initiative, with students ready to showcase their storytelling talents.
Head of School, Fozia Nisar., shared her joy about the event, saying: “Who else can have this much fun at work? Just another day at our school!” The day was not just a hit with the students; teachers were thrilled to see the enthusiasm and joy brought to the classroom.
