Heartwarming messages have poured in from students, teachers, and staff across Lift Schools as the trust joined the nationwide celebration of National Thank a Teacher Day

Lift Schools teamed up with organisers the Teaching Awards Trust for the first time, encouraging schools and communities to recognise and celebrate the incredible work of teachers, support staff, and everyone in education.

Personalised digital thank you cards were shared across our network, offering a heartfelt way to acknowledge individuals for their dedication and willingness to consistently go the extra mile.

It was a day of appreciation and gratitude across our network as schools took part in National Thank a Teacher Day celebrations

Here are just a few of the messages of appreciation shared:

This message from a parent was shared with all staff at Percy Shurmer Academy:

I have to thank all the staff at Percy Shurmer Academy. The education standards are absolutely brilliant. The staff have made both my children feel so welcomed from the very first day they started. All the staff in this school have bought out such bright personalities in my children and have helped the children develop their own independent thoughts. They have given the children a safe place to learn and grow and have also given me, as a parent, a place to turn to if I ever need help. I can't thank you all enough.

This message from a parent was shared with Mr Grant Stredder at New Rickstones Academy:

Thank you for supporting Ruby on the sporting journey. Your kindness, encouragement and compassion hasn’t gone unnoticed and Ruby speaks of you fondly outside of school. She has even decided you get a hospitality spot on her first Lioness match she plays! We all think you are awesome.

This message from a parent was shared with the entire teaching team at Brockworth Primary Academy.

What a journey the school has been on in the last few years. The whole BPA team has gone from strength to strength and the efforts from everyone to the development of the school has been fantastic.
It has been a privilege and pleasure to witness the progress and I know there is so much more to come. Everyone should be so proud of what you have accomplished and how much more you can achieve.

An anonymous message from a parent to Principal of Hazelwood Academy Suzanne Lloyd, read:

On this National Thank a Teacher Day, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for the incredible leadership, dedication, and care you bring to Hazelwood every day. Your support for staff, students, and families creates a positive and inspiring environment where everyone can thrive. Thank you for all you do - not just today, but every day!

Heartfelt messages of appreciation have poured in for leaders, teachers and support staff across Lift Schools

This message was sent to the performing arts department at Winton Community Academy.

To the whole performing arts department, your commitment and unwavering support of Amelie is to be applauded. She has grown from a girl in Year 7 who was unsure she wanted to be in the school show to where she is today. That is undoubtedly down to you all. I thank you and Winton for this!

Another anonymous message to a teacher at one of our schools read:

Thank you for being a teacher who leads with heart. Your care and thoughtfulness touch not just your students, but everyone who is lucky to work alongside you. Thank you.

Another anonymous message to Mrs Emma Mai at Tamworth Enterprise College read:

Thank you so much for your commitment, kindness, hard work and positivity. Your determination to ensure we provide the best for every child is inspiring. Thank you for helping to change the lives of our families.
